This is Adams Mill with the mill wheel there in front. Originally the wheel was down in the stream where it ran the grounding stone inside the building with water power. This buiding has been used for many things besides the mill. The post office was here and the Masonic Lodge and even some church and school functions. Even though in the Cutler area of Indiana, this area had its own name.....Bolivar.
A bit more information on the lovely Adams Mill. They surely have done a lot of work on this building since I first saw it 20 years ago. It is SO nice to see history preserved.
This is the Adams Mill Bridge which has also been restored. It is just down the street from the mill. I love driving inside and seeing the rounded arch curve of the wooden beams and also the opening to look out on the stream below.
