Inside the little church were two pipe organs and a little pellet stove for those cold Wyoming times!
Rows of hand crafted pine benches stood at salute to the view awaiting those who long for a moment's repose. At the front of the church was a small lecturn with a Bible atop. I happened to notice a note set askew under the Bible. It was a note from a teenage girl from Texas to the little church itself...sweetly written telling that she will be back soon since she had just moved to Douglas.
All the modern conveniences....two pit toilets in the yard outside marked men and women.
I took the liberty of snapping this photo of a photo commemorating the consecration of the litle church of Esterbrook in 1946. Not much has changed....it is still well-loved and God continues to grace this place with His presence.
