I know...weird picture huh? Who would ever blog something like this. Ok, let me explain. We love Canada...but not their eggs! (except the ones your friend had Doris) The pale yellow is a Canadian egg and the dark yellow is a Washington egg.
Actually, we live in Canada and have the dark yolks as well. I get them from a farmer who lets his chicken eat grass and etc. and that is actually what makes the difference for "canadian hens"!
Steve and Nancy blooming where they have been planted, in Central California foothills. Our hearts continue to long for new vistas, times with dear friends and following the road ahead but for now, we are content with where God has placed us. We are caring for Steve's mom who has Alzheimer's. Come, enjoy life "on the hill."

Wierd! I'm Canadian living in the States - and I've never noticed that before. Good eye, Nancy.
(Nice to check out your blog too!)
