We stopped by Grand Rapids, Michigan and there we visited with Chico and Vanessa Daniels who attended Grace Community with us for years. Chico had been the director of Visalia Rescue Mission for years until God called him to Grand Rapids on a much larger scale. It was so awesome to visit the mission and see the fruit of their hard work. From the homeless throwing rocks to scare Chico back to California to now the place known as "God's House" with such a peaceful feeling inside, these two have worked hard to bring jobs, GEDs and Jesus to the homeless and downtrodden of Grand Rapids. Our time with them was so special!!! Keep up the work there Chico and Vanessa, our prayers go with you!
As we traveled south to Indiana today...the landscape changed as well as the mode of transportation. We are in Shipshewana, Indiana
This afternoon we visited the Menna Hof to find out the fascinating history of the Mennonite, Amish and Hutterites. The tour was so informative and we learned SO much. Great job, if ever this way....don't miss this!
Uh huh....definitely NOT in California anymore. Here it is..the Shipshewana shuttle!
