And now the fun begins....here is the first batch of cherry jam coming out of the pot!
From 4 pm to 8:30pm...14 jars of jam, 7 pints of canned cherries, 6 frozen pies, 4 pint containers in the freezer, pint bag of frozen cherries, cherries for tonight's crisp and tomorrow night's cherry pie and a half gallon of cherry juice to drink...whew, that's a lot of cherries!!!
Last year it was raspberry pink that marveled me...this year it was cherry pink! This pot we have had since we were married 32 years ago. I can't begin to tell you how many batches of jam and jelly it has made!
