In order to keep the dates from being eaten by the birds and sunburned....they cover the bunches with dresses and shirts. It makes for a very colorful calico "look" in the date grove at China Ranch outside of Shoshone, CA.
Steve and Nancy blooming where they have been planted, in Central California foothills. Our hearts continue to long for new vistas, times with dear friends and following the road ahead but for now, we are content with where God has placed us. We are caring for Steve's mom who has Alzheimer's. Come, enjoy life "on the hill."
